Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce Announces 2026 Lodging Tax Small Business Micro-Grants

ELLENSBURG, WA – May 22, 2026 — The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 Lodging Tax Small Business Micro-Grant program, designed to support local businesses in projects that enhance visitor experiences and drive tourism-related economic activity throughout Kittitas County.

These micro-grants are made possible through Kittitas County lodging tax funds, administered by the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce, and awarded through the Kittitas County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) with support from the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners.

The Small Business Micro-Grant program is intended to assist eligible businesses in undertaking projects that attract and serve visitors traveling from outside the region. Applicants should focus on initiatives that increase non-resident visitor expenditures, particularly from individuals traveling 50 miles or more to Kittitas County.

Grant awards of up to $2,500 are available for qualifying projects taking place within Kittitas County in 2026. Eligible uses of funds include marketing and promotional efforts such as print, digital, and web-based advertising, as well as expenses tied to visitor-oriented programming and approved signage initiatives. All funding is subject to review and approval by the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.
