Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce Announces
2026 Lodging Tax Events Micro-Grants
ELLENSBURG, WA – April 16, 2026 — The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 Lodging Tax Events Micro-Grant program, supporting events that drive tourism and economic activity throughout Kittitas County.
These micro-grants are made possible through Kittitas County lodging tax funds, administered by the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce, and awarded through the Kittitas County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee with support from the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners.
The Micro-Grant program is designed to assist organizations in coordinating and producing events that attract visitors from outside the region. Applicants should plan projects with the goal of increasing non-resident visitor expenditures, particularly from individuals traveling 50 miles or more to Kittitas County.
Grant awards of up to $2,500 are available for events taking place within Kittitas County in 2026. Eligible uses of funds include marketing and promotional efforts such as print, digital, and web-based advertising, publications, and other marketing collateral. Funding may also be considered for event operations with approval from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.
