Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce Hires New Communications Manager
ELLENSBURG, WA – October 18, 2021 - The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce has hired Katie Estes as the new Communications Manager.
Estes grew up in Arlington, Washington, and then moved to Ellensburg, Washington for college in 2013. She graduated in 2018 from Central Washington University with a B.A. in Education. Estes is now currently studying for her master’s degree through Western Governor’s University with graduation projected for spring of 2022.
Most of Estes’ background in the last 10 years has been in education as a teacher, director of an early learning center, managing programs and being an early childhood/business consultant. Marketing and advertising have been a big part of every professional setting Estes has been involved in, which led her to a career shift.
“Helping small businesses thrive off of marketing has been something I have loved being a part of for different nonprofits and local businesses,” said Estes. "I am very excited to showcase what Kittitas County has to offer our community as well as creating a space for local businesses to prosper, with resources and support from the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to being immersed into this incredible team and getting to work with you."
