ELLENSBURG, WA – June 29, 2020 - The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce received no touch infrared thermometers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for businesses in Kittitas County. Having employees take their temperature regularly will help decrease the risk of the spread of COVID-19.

Each business owner who would like a thermometer will need to fill out the Kittitas County Chamber PPE Request Form at survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07eh633tvskbwr0l66/start. Once business owners have registered, they will be able to pick up their thermometer on Friday, July 3 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce office at 609 North Main Street in Ellensburg. Each registered business owner will receive one thermometer, regardless of the amount of businesses they own, to ensure all businesses in Kittitas County receive one. If business owners are not able to pick up their registered thermometer at the designated time, please email our CEO Amy McGuffin at amy@kittitascountychamber.com to set up at time for pick-up.

The public can learn more about the distribution of thermometers from FEMA at fema.gov/news-release/2020/05/26/distribution-infrared-thermometers. For more information, please email our CEO Amy McGuffin at amy@kittitascountychamber.com.
