SOUTH CLE ELUM
South Cle Elum is one of the smallest towns in Kittitas County. The town of South Cle Elum played a key role in the railroad history of the Pacific Northwest. From 1908 to 1980, the main line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad connected this community to the rest of the country. Today, the old depot and railroad site in the southwest corner of town is in the process of being restored to its original glory.
