Telephone and Cellular Service

Telephone companies within Kittitas County are Fairpoint Communications and Inland Internet Communications. There are several options for cellular service within the county.

Fiber Optics

Fiber Optic is in place throughout Kittitas County, and include the following cities. Cle Elum Fiber Optic, Doris Fiber Optic, Easton Fiber Optic, Ellensburg Fiber Optic, Kittitas Fiber Optic, Liberty Fiber Optic, Rocklyn Fiber Optic, Roslyn Fiber Optic, S. NOANET FIBER

Northwest Open Access Network (NoaNet) is a not for profit wholesale telecommunications company formed by several Public Utility Districts (PUDs) who have linked their fiber optic networks together in Washington State to bring high-speed telecommunication services into underserved communities to achieve economic feasibility.

Long-haul transport and last-mile access is provided to wholesale communication providers within a substantial portion of the Pacific Northwest and operates a fiber optic network throughout the state, including Kittitas County, connecting the local PUD communications networks to each other and to the major carrier connection points in Seattle, Spokane and Portland. Through NoaNet, wholesale providers and cable companies gain total access to the rural Northwest, including Kittitas County, to serve major enterprises and government entities that require significant bandwidth to achieve future growth. NoaNet draws upon a broad range of resources and partners to satisfy many business challenges. NoaNet is registered under the regulatory oversight of the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission.
